Well, I can tell you right now that I still have a job so I am closer to one of my resolutions, but that's it. I've actually been doing worse at going to church - I haven't gone once this year - so I am not any closer to being sealed. I haven't done any service.
Steve and I have been looking for an apartment. For some reason, being students and having part time jobs is not good enough for most renters. We "don't earn enough" because we'd make $1,000 a month. Which, sure doesn't look amazing because most apartments are $550 - $800 a month, but we also have student loans and grants for such things. That's what they're for.
Anyway, that's annoying. School is going a little bit better. I love my MORT 1010 class so far and I look forward to doing more of it. I changed my other classes so now I only have on-campus classes on Mondays (MORT 1010 & COMM 1020) and two online classes (ACT1110 & some teamwork problem-solving class). No pregnancy/doula class anymore. It was just too frufru for me. I wanted it to be more science/fact based.
So yes. Sorry for not being more reflective and personal, but I have not had time to think of such things.

New Years Resolutions
I always do these, but I never follow through. I'm completely serious about it but, usually, I've forgotten all about them by February. They're fun to do anyway though so...
#1: Do more service. Do at least one session of real service a month. Not the usual (still important) stuff, but like volunteering at a homeless shelter or the bishop's storehouse.
#2: Keep a job for at least 6 months. My resume looks terrible right now because, out of three listed jobs, one lasted two months and the other lasted one week! Bad news.
#3: Keep an apartment. Kinda goes in tandem with #2, but it's high time I become more responsible.
#4: No "C" grades in school. The only exception is math. Seriously, C's are dumb.
#5: Get Sealed. I have this soulmate who I'd like to take it to the next level with.
That's them! I would really be proud of myself if I could do these (or at least one of these). Wish me luck and may you do well with all of your endeavors this year.
